Calculate Your Electricity Cost

Have you ever wondered how much electricity your appliances are using? Check out Michael Blueray's site Saving Electricity. Using the electricity calculator I was able to see that if I turn on the 900Watt electric space heater 1 hr/day, 31 days/month then it would cost me around $3.36/month or $40/year in electricity for this appliance alone (in Texas). Keeping this in perspective helps me remember to turn the power switches off next time I leave the house.
